Mouse Line

In E-MouseLab mouse line is defined by combination of genotype and strain. Mice with the same genotype but different background strain are considered as different lines, and vice versa.

You can monitor the status of each line in "Mouse report" window:

Click the link to open the mouse line report window. You can select each line in the window to check mouse number and average age.

Line status:

The default criteria of mouse line status:

Good: more than two young males and four young females.

Bad: less than one young male or less than one young female.

Alert: except good and bad.

You can change the criteria in program settings.
